Hi Ladies! As you all know by now, we’ve welcomed in the Fall season. Yay! While I’m definitely here for everything Fall (the colors, limited addition drinks, cooler weather, etc.), I’m feeling a super weird incorporating Fall colors while it’s still super-hot here in the South. If you live in an area that’s still bathed in Summer’s warmth; hopefully, this look can inspire your upcoming looks.
This look is all about innovation, re-styling older pieces to achieve a new look. I’m all about ballin on a budget because I’ve got goals beyond building my wardrobe. #Savings A lot of the time when I’m looking to create a new look with older pieces, I just head over to Pinterest for inspiration.
In the past, I admit that I have been a bit fearful of experimenting with colors and prints, but now, I’m looking to step outside of my comfort zone. In today’s look, I’ve paired an old deep teal dress from Forever 21 with a leopard print skirt from Banana Republic Factory. I’m not sure if you can still buy these items from those retailers, but I’m sure you have a solid print blouse or dress and an animal print skirt/ pant at home. And if you don’t, these items are usually easy to find since animal prints and solid tops are trends that are here to stay.
To go a bit bolder, I paired my look with my new Coach Harley East/ West hobo bag. The color is a lighter pink color, so I figured it might complement the pink tones of the shoes’ embroidered details. My shoes are ALDO’s ‘Licona’ sandals from DSW in a size US 11. You can buy them here. I just love how cute and comfortable they are.
