So, it’s really starting to cool off here in MS. So much so that I’ve had to rethink how I still wear my cropped trousers to work for 40-degree & below weather. Cropped trousers are so versatile in that they are casual enough to wear on a day out with friends and structured enough dress up your traditional business attire.

You might not be able to tell the pattern in this photo, but my pin-striped button-up blouse is from Banana Republic Outlet as well as my floral printed trousers. Both of these pieces were on clearance. #Savings

On this particular day in this photo, it was still warm enough for these wedges. Lately, I’ve paired them with closed toe booties that provide a bit more ankle coverage. I love that booties also pair well with a black moto jacket, so this look can definitely be adjusted for both warmer and cooler temperatures, which is great if you live in an ever-changing climate.

Shoe Deets: Pictured above are my Michael Kors ‘Carla’ wedges in U.S. size 11. I picked these up at DSW. For the most part, they are more comfortable to wear for hours on end; however, they are extremely heavy for everyday wedges. Keep that in mind if you have ankles they are smaller or in need of more support. If you aren’t able to find this style, try searching for the ‘Josephine’ wedge in the same brand and color. They’re very similar styles.
