The hunt is on now more than ever as ladies around the world are getting dolled up for special occasions. Prom, pageants, and Quinceañeras can be can be dreadful experiences if you’re an ill-prepared Specialty Shoe Lover. Queen Feet preparation for these special occasions can be quite different from a woman’s experience with average size feet. The Queen Feet struggle is as real as ever.
I remember in high school, I wore shoes that were a size too small just so I could match my dress for junior prom. At the time, it seemed like I could just get away with this fashion faux pa because, you know, prom dance floors are dark, forgiving, and people are busy dancing or whatever. Well, I was wrong. The prom pictures that came after this super fun night proved that you can’t get away with ill-fitting proms shoes when you wear a short prom dress. SMH. In photos, you can see my toes curled over my red open-toe heels. I’m glad I had fun in the moment because reliving that night through those prom photos can seem daunting.
Ladies, I don’t want you to ever feel pressured to stoop so low as to wear too-little shoes on your big day. It’s 2018 and we have options, not too many, but still more options than previous years. The race for Queen Feet sizes is on, you’ll be sure to win with my favorite prom looks from Dillard’s or Long Tall Sally website below:
If you find some great prom/ pageant footwear in Queen Feet sizes, be sure to share them with me. I’d love to share your finds with the Queen Feet community.
