Happy Monday Specialty Shoe Lovers! I know it’s the start of yet another work week, but let’s reminisce on the on this past weekend just a bit longer, especially since I found some really cute large size women shoes.
I honestly don’t know why I tend to be drawn to the color blue. Ever since I was small, I’ve primarily worn blue without ever consciously thinking about it. My school uniforms were almost always blue. Whenever I’d go shopping, I’d make it home to review my bounty, and most of the pieces were blue. I wonder if it’s because my birth stone is blue, and maybe, other September babies are attracted to the color too.
Anyways, I was out and about during a warm Sunday afternoon in this really pretty Michael Kors dress. It does look a lot like something you’d wear in the Spring. But hey, I love color. It really doesn’t matter which hue or pattern, I’ve been breaking a lot of traditional fashion rules lately. Plus, I think I can still get away with it because we still have temperamental whether in MS. Most days, it’s hot. I paired this dress with some awesome black booties with a chunky heel.
Shoe Deets: I’m sporting these faux suede Chinese Laundry booties in a US 11. I purchased these at DSW over a year ago, but I’ve found a similar shoe from Kohl’s here. I love to wear these chic lace-up booties during the Fall season because the laces allow me to ensure a better fit for my super Narrow feet. Do you have a favorite bootie to rock? If so, please share with me and other SSL’s where you buy your and the sizes available below.
I want to thank my friend and dope photographer, Anissa Hidouk, for capturing these awesome photos for me. Follow Anissa on Instagram @anissa.photography or check out her global portfolio by visiting her site here.
