Hey SSLs! The Thanksgiving holiday is quickly approaching, and I still don’t know what to wear. As I get older, I’m starting to value comfort more so than the “look” that’s the most fashionable. Thanksgiving will be no different.
Thanksgiving is an awesome time to enjoy family and friends, while reminiscing on all of the wonderful way God has blessed you. Instead of fussing over uncomfortable stilettos and much makeup. I plan on opting for a simple, casual look and focusing on the most important feature of this glorious day: the food, of course. You know, you can’t be all super cute when you know you’re about to get your grub on.
I’m loving cozy sweaters that add a pop of color and high-waisted jeans that seem to add a tailored touch. You can find this cropped H&M sweater here & the Topshop jeans here. Also, my focus is always accessories for the Fall/ Winter seasons. Pictured above is the ‘Luzille’ backpack by Patricia Nash, perfect for house-hopping. The booties are by the L.A. brand Matisse.
Shoe Deets: These Matisse ‘Harp’ suede ankle boots come in Queen Sizes US 10&11. They have a nice block heel feature and are available in black as well. If you’re looking to purchase these, I’ve only found these sizes on the brand’s own website.
